Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Lawyer to join our legal team.
As an Intellectual Property Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company in all aspects of intellectual property law.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, drafting trademark and patent applications and responding to office actions, conducting arbitrations involving ecommerce, contract and intellectual property issues, and providing legal support to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Preparing for and litigating intellectual property cases and arbitrations
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Manage and maintain case files and documents
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Draft trademark and patent applications and respond to office actions
-TTAB and PTAB litigation
- Conduct due diligence for intellectual property transactions
- Assist with contract negotiations and drafting
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team
Requirements:
- License to Practice Law in the State of Washington
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and procedures
- Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis or FastCase
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
