Copyright Associate Attorney

Lloyd & Mousilli is a boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property and technology law.
The firm is growing and it is time to add an Associate Copyright Attorney to contribute to our copyright prosecution and enforcement practice group.
This attorney would be responsible for day to day oversight, client meetings, and copyright law related deliverables under the supervision of the firm's managing partner and senior counsel.
Representative assignments include: -Meeting with prospective copyright clients to discuss their options -preparing and filing copyright applications with paralegal support -preparing and filing responses to copyright examiner inquiries -preparing and filing DMCA take down requests with paralegal support -advising on best copyright registration and enforcement strategies based on budget, risk and client objectives -copyright law related research to support requests for reconsideration, as well as copyright infringement related causes of action to support the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice.
Independent knowledge and experience with the above scope of assignments is required.
Supervision and involvement from the firm's managing partner and senior counsel should be reasonably limited to matters that are highly strategic in nature, or especially complex.
The copyright practice group is supported by a dedicated Senior IP Paralegal and IP legal assistant and other support staff as necessary.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $100.
00 - $130.
