We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tax Attorney to join our team on a contract or part-time basis.
This role is ideal for candidates who excel in client-facing situations, are adept at working with accounting teams, and have experience in liaising with the IRS.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients, driving the successful delivery of our tax services, and contributing to our business growth through their expertise and client engagement.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide expert tax advice and services to our clients, focusing on R&D tax credits, cost segregation, and other strategic tax planning services.
* Work closely with client accounting teams to ensure optimal tax strategies are implemented.
* Represent the company in discussions with the IRS, as necessary.
* Contribute to business growth by engaging with potential clients and highlighting the value of our services.
*Compensation:*
* Base Pay: $6,000/month during active periods (Jan-Apr, Aug-Sept).
* Performance Bonus: $500 per case delivered, with an annual target of 200 cases.
* Retainer Fee: $2,500/month during off-season months (May-Jul, Oct-Dec).
* Total potential compensation: Up to $147,500, based on performance.
*Requirements:*
* Proven experience as a Tax Attorney, with a strong background in tax law and IRS negotiations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and accounting teams.
* Flexibility to accommodate seasonal work intensity and the capability to work remotely.
