This position can be fully remote, or on location at one of our two offices.
Whichever option works best for you.
This position will be responsible for important work, including: Organizing Tax Strategist’s schedule, files, and client-related items.
Enhancing Tax Strategist’s productivity.
Regularly interfacing with clients regarding schedules, and obtaining financial statements and documents needed for tax preparation.
Organize and maintain Tax Strategist’s personal obligations.
Performing traditional legal secretarial tasks including, but not limited to, transcription, document preparation, answering telephones, calendaring, filing, etc.
Booking and managing travel as needed.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable.
The compensation package includes base salary plus bonus compensation for production and performance, paid time off, paid holidays, and health insurance for the employee.

” Responsibilities: At a minimum, the Tax Strategist will have the following expectations of you, and your performance in the Firm will be determined based on how well you meet these expectations, as observed by the Tax Strategist and the Senior Management Staff.
Maintains a familiarity with the nature and status of all clients’ current client files; particularly those on the Tax Strategist’s desk; Files and retrieves materials in client files.
Maintains, and is familiar with the tax Strategist’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
Reviews and prioritizes the Tax Strategist’s e-mails and other correspondence.
Prepares Tax Strategist for meetings by briefing the Tax Strategist on the nature of the meeting, the status of the client file, and any other pertinent information.
Ensures everything on the Tax Strategist’s calendar occurs when it is supposed to occur, that there are no missed deadlines, and that there is plenty of time to perform tasks – scheduling out time for the Tax Strategist to perform time-consuming tasks would be helpful.
Handles telephone calls directed to the Tax Strategist.
You will not delegate any task assigned to you by the Tax Strategist to any other person in the office without the Tax Strategist’s consent, which will be granted only in exceptional circumstances.
Assists the Tax Strategist with client relations such as sending out relevant news articles, congratulatory cards, etc.
Maintains client confidence and serves as the Firm’s primary interface with Owner clients, and accordingly a key public relations figure.
Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.
Conserves Tax Strategist’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Attends work regularly to ensure consistency with client relations and among staff.
Attends meetings or conferences as a participant or as staff.
May operate various office machines and lifts, pull, and push other office-related items such as file boxes and shelves.
A successful candidate will be a quick thinker, ready to learn new tasks, willing to jump into any challenge, and a friendly face for team members and visitors alike.
Qualifications: Administrative experience.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
