JS Law is based in NYC and specialized in international arbitration and litigation.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team.
As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, and arbitrations.
Your expertise in legal research, writing, and negotiation will be crucial in providing effective representation for our clients.
*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation and manage the team.
*Requirements:*
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited US law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
- Strong knowledge of litigation and arbitration procedures, rules, and regulations
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including hearings and oral arguments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience with legal drafting and document preparation
- Proven ability to litigate cases effectively
We sponsor H1-B for international law graduate from US JD program.
Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
