Overall Position Purpose
As a Compliance Program Manager, this role ensures that all assigned compliance cases, intellectual property matters, and sanction verification requests, including all related tasks and projects, are processed and executed according to Inteleos policies and procedures.
The Compliance Program Manager will use various project management and collaboration platforms to work with staff at all levels of the organization, Compliance Volunteers, and key stakeholders to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
The Compliance Program Manager will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity.
Core Responsibilities Compliance Investigations Perform administrative tasks and respond to queries from individuals regarding Compliance Violations as it pertains to the Compliance Policies; Receive and begin processing self-reported reported violations with an application, self-report, or renewal self-report.
Identify instances when additional documents are required and submit requests for documents to Respondents; Receive and process complaints or reports of violations that have occurred and serve as a point of contact for the Complainant.
Identify instances when additional documents are required and submit requests for documents to Complainant; Upon obtaining all compliance investigation documents, prepare a summary to present to the Compliance Management for compliance review processing next steps; Perform administrative research and analyze criminal documents, police reports, related news articles, data management systems, and public records to locate specific facts, appropriate data, precedents, and policies having a bearing on conduct in violation of Compliance Policies for all Councils/groups within the family of Inteleos Certification brands; Prepare a summary of the investigation to include redacted supporting documents to present to the Compliance Review Panel for determination; Serve as the Compliance Review Panel point of contact.
Communicate with the Panel, peer review case summaries, generate surveys for the review by the Panel, monitor and collect the results of each survey; Serve as liaison to other Compliance Panels and/or Staff Committees as assigned to assure effectiveness and is accountable for ensuring Panel/Committee success; Prepare Compliance Hearing Files, combing all documents submitted by the Respondent, internal investigation, and communication logs for Respondents referred for a formal hearing before the Compliance Hearing Panel; Draft Compliance Hearing Order of Findings per the Compliance Hearing Panel’s specifications and submit to Management for approval; Ensure Respondents are compliant with probation or suspension sanctions ordered by the Compliance Hearing Panel; Issue the final written determination to the Respondent undergoing Compliance Review on behalf of the Compliance Review Panel, Compliance Hearing Panel, Compliance Reinstatement Panel, or Compliance Appeal Panel.
Intellectual Property (IP) Infringement Investigations Receive from internal and external sources reports of intellectual property infringement.
Identify which level of IP infringement has occurred and proceed per Inteleos policies and procedures.
Prepare IP infringement cases, as applicable, for presentation to legal counsel guidance, and fulfill legal counsel recommendations regarding the request.
Receive subpoenas or legal requests for records, prepare requests for presentation to legal counsel guidance, and fulfill legal counsel recommendations regarding the request; Receive and execute requests from employers verifying their employees against the individuals listed in the online sanction list; Assist Compliance Management with the coordination of strategic and logistical responsibilities of volunteer programs with Volunteer Engagement; Assist Compliance Management with the execution of engagement and training activities to ensure engaged and highly trained Compliance volunteers; Serve as a Qualtrics subject matter expert, creating surveys and exercises to be distributed to Compliance Volunteers; Identify opportunities for continual improvement and develop new approaches, policies, and procedures to lead change to better the organization, staff, and department; Maintain and submit to Management assigned reports and documents to ensure compliance with ANAB accreditation; Proactively manage the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals; Execute the scheduled audit of policies, procedures, workflows, letter templates, and email templates; and Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Required Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment; Minimum of three years' experience with background investigations, certification, accreditation, or related fields.
Experience with project management desired.
