Business Attorney

About Us: We are a fast growing startup and business consulting company on the forefront of creating automated processes for businesses using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software with an eye towards Ai and machine learning to develop intelligent business software.
We are looking for an attorney who would serve as our in house counsel to assist with drafting legal agreements with clients, reviewing documents, and advising our accountant on best practices for business structure and assisting with business re-organization.
We are a tight knit company and are looking for an attorney that would be able to assist 2-5 hours per week on a contract basis.
Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Draft legal documents, contracts - Advise on best tax structure for companies and legal implications - Represent clients in negotiations - Provide legal advice to client on various matters - Manage and prioritize multiple business needs simultaneously Experience: - Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school - Admitted to the WA state bar and in good standing - Proven experience in negotiation, and legal drafting - Experience with tax law, business structure, and corporate governance - Strong research and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $45.
