*About the Organization:*
We are a multistate nonprofit organization focusing on immigration benefits for survivors of violent crimes and their families.
We offer immigration legal services to the low-income community who have been victims of violent crimes within the United States.
Our primary focus is gender-based crime survivors and deportation/removal defense for all inmigrations in the USA.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
* Determine participants’ legal eligibility and suitability of cases for referral or representation;
* Counsel and review immigrant and non-immigrant visas, adjustment of status and naturalization cases;
* Respond accurately and timely;
* Maintain highly organized case files through our case management system;
* Proactively research new legislation and legal changes in immigration law;
* Collaborate with the wider immigration team, including paralegals, to address legal issues pertaining to our immigration services.
*Secondary responsibilities:*
* Represent clients in removal proceedings in Immigration Courts, primarily in asylum cases;
*Requirements:*
* *Active attorney license in at least one U.
S.
jurisdiction;*
* 1 or 2 years of experience in an Asylum preferred;
* 1 or 2 years of experience in migration law;
* *The position will be 100% remote;*
* Fluency in Spanish is preferred;
* Membership in good standing in the bar of any state;

*Salary: *The current entry salary is $60,000 annually
