Communications Specialist (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions.
If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary: The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news, multimedia content and information.
Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and presentations.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal AI experts, lawyers, researchers, developers, consultants, media, and industry associations, to amplify messaging.
Requirements: 8-10 years related experience required.
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Experience in video production is preferred.
Additional Details: Location: Remote Duration: 5 months Pay Range: $38.
