Litigation Attorney

Our work environment includes: * Flexible working hours * Fully Remote Work Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Conduct legal research using various resources, such as Lexis-Nexis - Draft and proofread legal correspondence and documents - Organize and maintain legal files and documents - Assist in preparing for trials and hearings - Manage attorney deadlines Requirements: - Proven experience as a Litigation Attorney - Strong research skills to gather relevant information for cases - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in using Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis for legal research - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team As a Flowe Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents, and reviewing records.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong organizational skills, and is familiar with legal procedures.
If you have excellent research skills, the ability to write clearly and concisely, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without much supervision (and on your own schedule), we would love to hear from you.
We're specifically looking for someone who will work independently as of counsel for about 10 hours a week.
There is no expectation that this attorney will work more than 10 hours a week.
Flowe does not intend to overwork anyone.
If an attorney excels and seeks more work, they will be provided more opportunities to earn.
This role is designed for someone who is busy with their family, or some other pursuit, but still seeks to practice litigation at a high level.
Flowe’s practice is predominately in federal courts throughout the United States, as well as a few matters in California state court.
Flowe also has transactional work for an attorney whose experience extends beyond litigation.
Flowe intends to pay an of counsel attorney $100/hr (which is the equivalent of a salary of $208,000).
This attorney will work remotely as an independent contractor.
