Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, and briefs
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, depositions and mediations
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law Pennsylvania
- 3+ years experience in Workers' Compensation litigation
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using online databases such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
