Responsibilities:
Manage/defend workers' compensation cases and employer defense in California.
Also Discrimination Defense, Willful Misconduct and Other Employer Related.
Develop defense strategies for efficient outcomes with one of the largest firms and work in multiple offices and or remote as well as full or part time.
Represent the employer in workers' compensation hearings and trials.
Review medical records and reports to assess the extent of injuries and disabilities.
Coordinate with medical professionals to ensure appropriate treatment plans for injured employees.
Analyze and interpret complex medical and legal documents related to workers' compensation claims.
Prepare and present evidence in support of the employer's defense.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Excellent data management skills, including the ability to organize and analyze large amounts of information.
