THE ROLE The Contracts and Proposals Executive/Manager will report into the Contracts and Proposals Director, and will work closely with the business development and account management teams as well as senior stakeholders of the business on developing proposals and managing contract processes within Phastar.
Responsibilities: Manage and compile all specifications to ensure that proposals and contracts, including change orders are forwarded to sales staff or clients/prospective clients in a timely manner Enter work orders and subsequent change orders into the invoice tracking database Work within company guidelines, processes and pricing structures provided to develop proposals Participate in proposal review meetings with applicable resources and participate in project review meetings as needed Manage NDAs Perform timely follow-ups and maintain an up-to-date contact database Compile and update information for pricing and company guidelines for sales contracts Partner with sales as needed for formal presentations to ensure thorough client understanding of work order proposal Participate in various team meetings with sales, marketing, and operations teams to learn and contribute Take responsibility for personal skill development in continuing to learn current pharmaceutical standards and industry trends Develop a high-level of understanding of services provided by the company Accountable for quality and accuracy of all contracts and proposals prepared by and sent out from Phastar Perform other related job duties or responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: A minimum of 3+ years of experience working within a CRO setting and/or the pharmaceutical industry doing a similar role Legal/financial understanding of proposals Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions An understanding and background in marketing, sales, business development, and clinical trial principles and processes Excellent verbal and written communication Experience working with various stakeholders (e.
g.
SMEs/senior level management/finance) to prepare client deliverables Experience working in complex Excel tools Excellent attention to detail Able to manage multiple assignments at the one time Excellent organisational skills Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks Understanding and experience in confidentiality of all client information.
