The Legal Intern will assist with projects within Ventra’s in-house corporate legal department, including (i) reviewing, drafting, and logging contracts; (ii) reviewing, organizing and tracking various consents documents; (iii) performing general corporate maintenance and other compliance related activities; and (iv) conducting legal research regarding various legal healthcare and compliance related topics.
The majority of services may be performed remotely, but some in-office time may also be required.
Essential Functions and Tasks:
Perform Legal Research.
Review and log both customer and vendor agreements.
Assist with drafting confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, and customer contracts.
Draft legal correspondence and reports.
Manage state filings and business licenses.
Assist with various legal and compliance related projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate degree via an accredited law program.
Contract review/management, corporate legal or healthcare related experience preferred.
