_Overview_
This position is responsible for representing and advising federal employees in a variety of forums, including litigating before EEOC and MSPB administrative judges, grievance proceedings, and whistleblower protection claims.
The position requires regular contact with clients, opposing counsel, administrative judges, and other federal agency contacts in order to successfully achieve our clients’ goals.
Training is provided as part of attorney onboarding and ongoing.
_Job Responsibilities_
* Maintain a license to practice law, in good standing, in at least one U.
S.
state
* File complaints and appeals before the appropriate boards and agencies
* Communicating with clients in a clear, professional, and timely manner
* Understanding the goals of clients and advising them on proper courses of action
* Draft complaints, appeals, motions, discovery, and other pleadings
* Review and analyze complex case files
* Research relevant law, regulation and policy
* Represent clients at administrative hearings, conferences and depositions
* Independently manage clients, cases and deadlines
_Necessary Skills_
* Expertise with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to type proficiently
* Familiarity using CRM platforms and cloud-based data storage
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write in English free of spelling and grammatical errors
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as high attention to detail.

_Pay and Benefits_
The position includes a base pay range commensurate with experience, with a minimum requirement of 1500 billed hours per year.
Bonuses are provided based on performance, case outcomes, and settlements to substantially supplement the base salary.
Subsidized health insurance is also available after a 60-day waiting period, and the firm offers 401(k) plans with 401(k) matching, dental and vision insurance.
