Position Overview:
We are keen on welcoming a virtual paralegal who:
Holds expertise in Personal Injury—especially various components of pre-litigation personal injury matters, with an emphasis on case management and client and 3rd party communications.
Well-rounded professional paralegals with additional competencies and proficiencies are strongly encouraged to apply.
Comes with a minimum of three years of Personal Injury experience.
Has been engaged in a law firm setting within the past six months.
The paralegal will be responsible for conducting initial screenings, communicating with clients, and gathering and organizing case-related materials, including medical records, police reports, traffic reports, and other materials related to total damages.
Is technologically proficient, especially with Word, Excel, Adobe, and preferably with cloud-based practice management software like Clio.

Operate with significant independence.
Be responsible for maintaining timely communication with clients between 9am – 6pm Pacific Standard Time with a close responsiveness commitment.

The selected paralegal will come on board as a W-2 employee (not a 1099 independent contractor), with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week.

Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of recent experience supporting attorneys in pre-litigation personal injury law firm(s)
Experience with communicating with clients and 3rd parties, including law offices, medical providers, police departments, and clients.
Experience collecting, preparing, and organizing documents.
Experience with itemization and organization.
Experience performing legal research
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Expert proficiency with utilizing all programs within Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Experience editing, bookmarking, and indexing PDFs
Experience using cloud-based practice management software, preferably Clio or MyCase
Full time availability during the hours of 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday – Friday Pacific time.
