This position is fully remote.
Interviewing, training, and working will be conducted remotely in your home.
While in the Business to Business Collection Representative position, you’ll be responsible for making good on promises by helping our clients - some of the most well-known companies in manufacturing, media and technology - get paid for the products or services they provide.
With this Business to Business environment, *you never call anyone at home about their personal debt*! This means no credit card debt, medical bills, or student loans.
We _only _call businesses that have past due invoices with our clients.
It also means that no one is required to work nights or weekends! This position exercises independent judgment in the handling of all aspects of the legal collection process including collecting on delinquent accounts, drafting letters to clients, debtors, and attorneys, make recommendations to clients for settlements and payment plans as well as maintaining detailed records of all collection stages.
Compensation for this role ranges from $15.
00 to $23.
00 per hour plus a monthly team bonus.
Placement in the hourly compensation range is determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
The monthly team bonus is based on how successful the team is on monthly collection goals.

If the employment relationship is successful and both parties want it to continue long term, we will award a bonus of $300 to you.
The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter who is strategic and intuitive on understanding the process and knowing what next step to take, and has a background in law (such as a paralegal or legal assistant that has collection, bankruptcy and litigation experience of at least 5 years) and legal collection agency experience working with debtors, clients and attorneys in a high volume, fast paced, multi-client environment.

*Collection Representative Job Description* *Objective: *The role of the Collection Representative is to collect on past due accounts on behalf of ABC-Amega’s clients in a manner that ensures maximum revenue generation through successful collections, excellent service, and the highest quality standards.
This position uses various collection techniques, including making demands for payment, settlement negotiations, and other methods via telephone, email, and postal letters to debtors.
*Primary Job Duties:* * Meet or exceed collection and revenue goals as established to ensure maximum client satisfaction * Work accounts assigned efficiently by meeting productivity and activity goals as assigned * Provide excellent service and communication to customers and/or clients, engage with customers and/or clients in a positive and collaborative way, to include but not limited to, providing accurate information, holding good call flow, using professional tones, greetings, and closings, while controlling the call efficiently * Accurately update ABC-Amega’s database(s) reflecting the customer and/or client interaction * Ensure high quality standards by following all instructions as outlined by customers and/or clients, procedures, quality assurance, or manager; anticipate the customer’s and/or client’s concerns by demonstrative active listening and proactively thinking, adapting to changes as needed *Secondary Job Duties:* * Engage in client contact- limited to questions/answers/discussions related to specific files/claims via phone or email * Responsible for small, medium, or large size claims depending on business needs, specific dollar limit to be set on a client-by-client basis, and subject to change; apply the same quality standards to all claims * Respond to written correspondence from customers, and clients in clear, concise, and professional language by keeping your language accurate, legible, complete, and by using a positive tone * Exercise sound independent judgment in the handling of all aspects of the collection process of claims assigned to station; analyze and make recommendations to clients for settlements and payment plans *Company Values:* At ABC-Amega, we have a strong set of values that we follow each day.

*Additional Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree (or experience in lieu of a degree) * Must have at least 5 years in a call center setting or working with phones in a professional setting.
* Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Legal Collections, preferably in a business to business environment, working with clients and attorneys * Strong computer skills in various systems, especially Microsoft Office * Time management and organization skills * Proficient communication and comprehension skills, including professional written and telephone communication * At ease communicating via telephone or verbal discussion, including conversations that require making demands for payment and/or negotiating favorably for the company and our clients * Adept at professionally responding to confrontational or evasive conversations if required during the handling of a collection account, including the ability to de-escalate emotion, and face confrontation * Basic mathematical skills * Basic telephone and calculator skills *Work Hours:* It is essential that this position adhere to the assigned work schedule.
This is a full-time position working 37.
5 hours per week: Monday through Friday, with a pre-determined schedule typically between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm EST, subject to change with advanced notice.
*Additional Requirements:* There is no travel and are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
