This is a full-time remote role for a Filing and Docketing Clerk.
The position will manage multiple attorney calendars.
You will be responsible for calendaring court, motion return dates, deadlines, reminders, and ensuring the proper and accurate management of staff calendars.
The position will also be responsible for assembling documents for filing, ensuring timely filing of legal documents in NYSCEF, saving filed and stamped documents, filing them in our case management software, and updating the case management software appropriately.
Your day-to-day tasks will include inputting case information into the case management system, scheduling court dates, monitoring case documents for accuracy, and preparing legal correspondence.
With attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will support our legal team in their important work to represent victims of sexual abuse.
Qualifications
5+ years experience managing multiple staff calendars
Prior experience with docketing or legal records management
Prior experience with NYSCEF - must be well-versed in assembling documents and e-filing
Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Experience with Neos case management software a plus

Pay: $50,000.
