With direction from leadership, this position supports the client and network vendor contracting process from contract origination and on-going administration through termination.
This includes facilitating comprehensive reviews and the redlining process while ensuring that contract language is tracked and correct from version to version.

*Essential Functions:*
1.
Establishes and administers the legal contracting process and manages and maintains version control.
2.
Coordinates, implements and maintains contracting instruments, including but not limited to agreements, fee schedules and amendments.
Acts as the point of contact to capture and relay updated contract terms as needed.
3.
Maintains archive files for each contract which will include original contract, all correspondence, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications and payment schedules.
4.
Manages vendor contract compliance documentation by contacting vendors and requesting up-to-date information, which includes but is not limited to DME (Durable Medical Equipment) licensure, insurance and accreditation.
5.
Maintains and tracks contracts from origin to completion utilizing system tools e.
g.
, CRM and DocuSign.
6.
Creates and maintains reports and supporting contract documentation to optimize client tenure and mitigate business risk.
7.
Creates a profile and loads pricing into DMETrack system.
Validates output against the fee schedule creation to ensure quality and integrity of the system.
8.
Communicates critical information to stakeholders.
*Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*
*Education, Licensure or Certification:*
• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field required; Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
• Paralegal certificate required
*Work Experience or Related Experience:*
• Two (2) years of experience working in a corporate environment or law firm
• Contract drafting experience required
• Experience in healthcare, medical, and/or contracting fields is preferred
• A solid understanding of contracting and/or procurement functions required
• General business acumen required as usually obtained through work experience, education or training required
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong critical thinking skills and strategic mindset are required
• The ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organization skills Is required with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• A high level or professionalism, customer service and discretion is required to represent the organization and interact with other organizations as described

• Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters
