We are looking for a remote Director, Commercial Contracts to join our Commercial Strategy team.
The Director Commercial Contracts will provide leadership and management oversight of Revance Aesthetics and Revance Therapeutics market access contract processes by facilitating pre-and post-deal analytics, negotiation, and administration of all Payer, Provider and Trade and distribution contracts.
This person will partner with, among others, the Sales team (Aesthetics and Therapeutics), Finance, Pricing, Commercial Operations, Legal, Marketing and Payer Marketing to ensure appropriate identification and evaluation of contracting opportunities.
These responsibilities will apply across all Revance product lines and pipeline products.

Your Main Responsibilities: Contract Management: Manage the end-to-end contract development process, including working with cross-functional partners on pre-deal analytics, negotiations, and post-deal analytics as well as the logging, tracking, reporting and facilitation of contract opportunities through the governance, negotiation/redlining and legal review processes.
Assist sales team with ad-hoc analysis, business planning, and contract performance review.
Contractual Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all contracts and agreements, safeguarding Revance's interests.
Negotiation: Partnering with the sales team, support customer contract negotiations to achieve favorable terms and mitigate risks.
Contract Administration: Develop and maintain systems and processes for efficient contract administration, tracking, and reporting.
Facilitate the transition of executed contracts to the appropriate operational team for implementation and/or adjudication, including outlining key terms and providing detailed explanations, as necessary.
Especially for the Therapeutics business, advise on strategic and operational issues and requirements related to contract administration including any matters relating to rebate analysis and payments, as well as resolution of disputes on rebate claims.
Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, proposing strategies for risk reduction.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Controllership, Legal, Sales and Market Access teams to facilitate smooth contract negotiations and execution.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate contract records and performance dashboard with specific KPIs such as Contract Cycle Time, to monitor contract and team performance.
Maintain calendar and matrix of bids/offers and coordinate communication of contract development and execution status Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management practices, recommending and implementing enhancements.
What qualifications you need to be successful in this role: Required: 8 years minimum payer contracting, contract administration and/or analytics experience in the Aesthetics, Pharmaceutical, Life Science or related Industries and/or equivalent education and experience Progressive business experience in finance, accounting, sales, government pricing, contracting, or other related area Understanding of pharmaceutical pricing government programs and associated regulations Experience analyzing and visualizing data from a broad range of commercial data sources (CRM data, speciality pharmacy dispense/status data, speciality distributor data, patient services data, payer claims/formulary status data, etc.
