Immigration Attorney

The firm is seeking a US Immigration Lawyer to join the team.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills; have an understanding of US immigration, especially in the field of humanitarian visa applications; motivation to learn in-depth knowledge of immigration processeses.
Full training will be provided where needed.
*Key job responsibilities* *include:* * Reviewing requests for US humanitarian and family visas and providing sound assessments of eligibility * Communicating with visa applicants and to provide clear guidance on visa processes and requirements and identifying information required for submissions * Working with legal team to prepare immigration forms, persuasive letters of support and other submissions * Keeping abreast of changes in US immigration law and procedure and implementing changes into practice * Reporting to clients on pending matters and monitoring progress of cases to ensure timely visa issuance and admission to the US * Resolving issues of eligibility and inadmissibility *Key job requirements include:* * Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English and Spanish * Ability to identify legal issues, analyze facts and determine appropriate case strategy * Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion * Experience with high-volume case loads, and managing a wide-ranging case load in a fast-paced environment * Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and staff * Ability to effectively utilize on-line case management and legal research tools * Ability to display professionalism, quality service and a “positive” attitude * Strong comunication skills needed to be part of a remote team *Compensation + Benefits* Generous base salary Growth opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
