We are looking for a Legal & Contracts Analyst to join our Operations Team.
This is a temporary to potentially permanent position for January to June 2024.
This is a remote position with priority for a candidate who can work in the Eastern Time Zone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with both Contracts and Legal teams for deal execution support.
Learn to draft, review, and redline a broad range of service contracts including confidentiality agreements, master agreements, vendor agreements, and amendments.
Review and approve contracts for accuracy prior to countersignature.
Resolve contract errors with applicable departments.
Compile and organize contract types and descriptions for centralized access.
Maintain contract files in accordance with the company’s retention policy.
Track and report on contract review and completion statistics.
Provide support on system and process improvement initiatives.
Work closely with internal teams on audit requests.
Learn programs and products offered by company.
Participate in regular regional sales team calls to identify where field support is needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Must have a bachelor’s degree.
Must have at least 2 years of analytical experience in contracts.
An expert in the Microsoft office suite – Word, PPT, Excel.
Willingness to learn in many areas of the business.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Good-humored individual who can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a distributed team and company.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Energy-related experience or education a plus, but not required.
