The Role Reporting to the Sr.
Manager Privacy & Compliance Manager, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for the successful selection, documentation and monitoring of cybersecurity and/or privacy controls.
Drawing on your Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Documentation experience, you will implement and prioritize projects for the Compliance team to ensure timely completion of major compliance initiatives and tool implementation across AspenTech globally.
You have a strong background in information technology and/or compliance, demonstrated experience in program and project management, extensive experience creating documentation and training.
You are self-motivated and able to identify a problem, overcome roadblocks and manage projects through their lifecycle from definition, through development, deployment, and evaluation.
Your Impact Reviews and evaluates the lifecycle of confidential and sensitive data, including the collection, storage, use, transfer, retention, and destruction of information.
Assists with vendor/customer contract reviews to highlight non-compliance.
Conducts analysis for enterprise-wide programs related to compliance, including, development, facilitation and assessment activities.
Researches and responds to compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders at the direction of the Data Protection Officer.
Performs privacy awareness activities such as training, developing, and maintaining privacy-related documents; coordinating the marketing of privacy programs; and leading and/or participating on work groups and taskforces.
Prepares compliance analysis reports for the Data Protection Officer Provides status reports and metrics for privacy related projects in process globally.
Performs related work as assigned.
What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.
/B.
S.
) or equivalent from an accredited college or university is preferred, industry certifications preferred as well.
10+ years of experience supporting major IT program initiatives such as new tool integration, software development projects, cybersecurity projects, compliance, etc.
The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and balance conflicting demands.
Familiarity with common information security and quality management frameworks (such as ISO 27001), policies, guidelines, and best practices is preferred.
Skills, Abilities and Competencies Proven experience planning and executing projects and initiatives.
Ability to document workflows, solutions, policies, and deliverables.
Ability to “own the problem” and work an issue to resolution.
Proven ability to assume high levels of responsibility and to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Strong analytic and reasoning skills, particularly in solving large, complex problems .
Constantly curious and dedicated to expanding knowledge and experience .
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with people from all organizational levels and build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
