*The Role:* We are looking for a CA-barred corporate attorney, with 10+ years of practice, including BigLaw, significant M&A experience, and experience in the tech industry.
We are also willing to consider candidates with less than 10 years of practice who have 4+ years of M&A experience from an Am Law 100 firm.
The attorney will be the primary point of contact for certain technology start-up and emerging company clients and provide general corporate and transactional services, including running financing rounds.
*The Compensation:* This role is a 1099 position for which the attorney will make $250 for every hour billed and collected.
The attorney will inform us how much they want to work and we will do our best to allocate work accordingly.
While business development is by no means required, the attorney may receive additional compensation if they generate new clients.
All CGL attorneys are given 10% of any collections from clients they originate for 18 months so long as they are still with the firm.
Because this is a 1099 position, benefits are not provided.
