We are looking for a Document Specialist with proven experience in the Real Estate or Land Acquisition industry or working as a paralegal for a real estate attorney to be a part of our team.
You should be able to assist the Land Managers with all the processes involved in transactions.
You should be of assistance in gathering and submitting documents that aid in leasing, renewal, or termination of real estate properties.
You should be able to review and understand the financial aspects of real estate agreements and suggest contract options accordingly.
Moreover, your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be helpful in resolving any financial issues faced by the company and landowners.
You will also be responsible for i) evaluating and tracking option and lease acquisition dates; ii) extending modifying or renewing option and lease agreements; iii) tracking and recording option / lease payments to assure timely payments; and iv) timely entering data into project management software and tracking documents.
As a Document Specialist, you need to have a good working knowledge of the legal procedures and guidelines governing the acquisition of real estate is mandatory.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing documents and the process of the acquisitions and overseeing day-to-day transactions
• Developing and implementing transaction plans, goals, and objectives resolving any financial issues between the company and landowners
• Gathering and reviewing documents related to leasing, renewal, or terminations.
• Creating property ownership and lease agreements, amendments, and recordation of documents
• Evaluating/ tracking option and lease acquisition dates
• Providing land managers with various contract options
• Data entry and ability to keep project files current and accurate.
Particular emphasis on payment schedules and adherence to lease terms.
• Examining transaction processes and suggesting improvements
• Conducting detailed financial analysis of agreements
• Building and maintaining strong and cooperative relationships with landowners and land managers.
• Working with other departments within the company to ensure accuracy and proper handling of documents.
Required Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in the Real Estate or Land Acquisition industries as a Document Specialist, Transaction Manager, or a similar role
• Complete knowledge of the legal procedures and guidelines governing the Real Estate industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Good team player
• Excellent networking and persuasive skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Detail-oriented and reliable individual
• Ability to manage stressful situations.
• Ability to offer excellent customer service.
