Job Description A bit more about this role: As the Internal Operations Compliance Manager for Devoted Health, you will be reporting directly to our Senior Compliance Manager responsible for oversight of internal areas such as Call Center, Enrollment, Appeals and Grievances, Utilization Management, and Claims.
This means having the chance to work across multiple operational areas, and gain valuable experience.
However, this Managerial position will have a primary focus on managing Utilization Management and Claims compliance and CMS program audit readiness activities.
In this role, you will work closely with various internal operational teams addressing compliance issues.
You will assist with audits, tracking potential compliance issues, and review operational compliance program effectiveness monitoring activities.
This role will have direct interaction with multiple operational areas, as a point of contact for regulatory questions and compliance feedback.
Responsibilities will include: Support business areas with remediation plans and audit readiness activities Develop and draft standard operating procedures, audit tools, policies, etc.
Participate in monthly meetings with internal Operational Teams regarding compliance and operational updates.
Review and manage monthly compliance monitoring activities.
Perform and assist the Sr.
Compliance Manager with internal audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis projects.
Prepare audit reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Review HPMS memos and regulatory guidance for adherence to regulatory processes.
Review corrective action plans and track to closure.
Attributes to success: Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
The ability to work independently and get the job done! Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects Ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to build collaborative relationships throughout the organization Excellent communication and facilitation skills Transparent in your work, what’s going well, what’s not Adaptable to change as we always look to make things better Passionate about Medicare and the members we serve A great team member with a can-do attitude; you’re self-reflective Ability to Travel 10% (onsite meetings, audits, and conferences) Desired skills and experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare Healthcare Compliance or Operations background (preferably in Utilization Management or Claims) Audit experience Experience reviewing regulatory healthcare guidance Strong written and communication skills Medicare Advantage experience Experience working remotely Healthcare equality is at the center of Devoted’s mission to treat our members like family.
