*The Role:*
Torticity is looking for an experienced personal injury Case Manager with exposure to pre-litigation auto injury cases.
In this role, the Personal Injury Case Manager will be responsible for managing a docket of pre-litigation personal injury files at the direction of the supervising manager and provide support on pre-litigation files as needed.
*Specific Responsibilities Include:*
· Proactively own and manage robust case load effectively to meet internal stakeholder and external partner deadlines
· Managing claimant relationship as primary point of contact during pre-litigation phase
· Acting as a liaison between client and insurance carriers prior to the commencement of litigation
· Obtaining information & documentation necessary to evaluate bodily injury claims
· Creating and maintaining internal database
· Requesting medical and billing records
· Preparing settlement demand packages
· Reviewing files with supervising manager, paralegals, and attorneys
*Experience:*
· 2 years of bodily injury claims adjusting experience with a personal lines or commercial lines carrier and/or at least 4 years of personal injury case management experience
· Experience handling pre-litigation cases from inception post intake through settlement
· Maintain a confidential, HIPAA compliant environment
· Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with confidential and sensitive information
· Acute attention to detail
· Must be available to travel on occasion and come into the office (if local in South Florida)
· Knowledge of Spanish language is a plus
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
