Remote Entry Level Attorney Representative.
About Our Office: Genex, An Enlyte Company, is one of the nation’s leading providers of integrated managed care services, focused on controlling health care costs and reducing disability expenses.
Genex Social Security Department provides Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) representation services for claimants who are referred predominantly by insurance carriers and self-insured employers.
Department attorneys manage all aspects of substantive claim development throughout the application process, as well as, represent claimants before the Office of Hearings Operations (OHO) throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Our team of Social Security attorneys and specialized claims staff focus on early case intervention with consistently high award rates.
Compensation: $65,000 annually

Responsibilities and Opportunities Offered:
Department attorneys are responsible for—
Representing claimants in administrative hearings before the Office of Hearing Operations (OHO);
Providing substantive guidance and development towards a voluminous caseload of complex Title II and Title XVI disability cases in all levels of the administrative adjudication process;
Conducting ongoing triage review and proposing dispositions with regard to assigned cases;
Drafting On-The-Record Requests, Pre/Post Hearing Briefs and Appeal Council Briefs; AND
Evaluating complex medical records and other pertinent case documents in relation to the current Social Security Rules & Regulations, Code of Federal Regulation, and applicable Circuit Caselaw.
Travel: Requires travel for any hearings scheduled in person (up to 33%)

Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Interested applicants must possess a J.
D.
degree and be duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney under the laws of any State
Required Skills and Experience: Applicants must be an active member of the bar in good standing in at least one State.
Desired Skills and Experience: Your qualifications will be further evaluated based upon the following preferred qualifications.
At least (1) year of experience in managing, preparing and litigating Title II and Title XVI Disability Cases; AND
Experience in short term and/or long-term disability case management
Experience in managing a voluminous caseload

Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market.
The expected base pay for this position ranges from $38,798 - $60,000 annually and will be based on a number ofadditional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
