We have an opportunity for an Associate with 3+ years of personal injury and/or mass tort experience to join the firm’s expanding practice.
Duties include, but are not limited to, performing legal research; drafting of legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings; attending court conferences; handling discovery-related activities and investigations; and drafting of position statements and dispositive motions.

*Requirements:*
An ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
* Have a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited U.
S.
law school.
* Be a member in good standing with the District of Columbia Bar is a plus.
* Have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney.
* Have courtroom and deposition experience (trial experience is a plus).
* Strong legal research, drafting of motions, and discovery.
* Work well independently; and
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and computer ability.
Candidates should have experience researching and drafting legal briefs, working on, and arguing various court law and motion matters, and preparing for trial.
Discovery experience, including both taking and defending depositions is also required.
