SunPower is seeking a Compliance Manager, Financial Services to support the implementation of the Compliance Management System.
The Compliance Manager, Financial Services will work with a team of dedicated compliance professionals to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
You will collaborate with Financial Products Operations, Financial Product Management, Internal Audit, and Legal to strengthen controls to manage compliance risk.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Support SunPower Financials' Compliance Management System to proactively meet consumer finance statutory and regulatory requirements.
Administer the compliance training program, including assigning trainings and reporting on training completion.
Implement ongoing monitoring and testing activities required to ensure the effectiveness of compliance controls.
Report findings to process owners and to management, assist in identifying remediation activities, and track and report on the status of those activities.
Coordinate updates of compliance policies and procedure documents.
Support compliance issue management activities to ensure timely remediation of compliance risks and vulnerabilities Required Qualifications: At least five years of relevant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, or Audit in a financial services organization OR the equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of consumer lending regulations (including UDAAP, TCPA, Fair Lending, TILA, FCRA, GLBA, FDCPA) and applicable controls Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; strong organizational skills Ability to work with stakeholders at various levels of seniority across the organization Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.
The base pay for this position ranges from $95,040/year to $171,072/year.
Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package including annual bonus eligibility, short and long-term incentives, and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program which includes health insurance coverage, employee wellness, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and so much more.
