Minimum requirements:
· Completion of Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
· Preferably a current membership, in good standing, in Arizona State Bar _OR_ able to obtain membership in the Arizona State Bar within six (6) months of hire.

Duties, Responsibilities & Skills:
· Legal representation of indigent defendants.
· Knowledge of criminal law, criminal procedure, the judicial process, court procedures and applicable court rules.
· Know and abide by rules of professional conduct for attorneys.
· Proficient in methods and techniques of negotiations and trial techniques and procedures.
· Skilled in legal research, legal writing, trial preparation, oratory and verbal persuasion and litigation.
· Ability to make significant and substantial legal decisions based on a combination of factors including the law, policy and rules of ethics.
· Stay current on criminal law issues.
· Display appropriate courtroom demeanor.
· Build client relationships.
· Work in a team environment.
· Must be able to handle a high volume of work and stressful situations.

Pay: $70,000.
