About the Role The Compliance Manager is responsible for strategic planning, process improvement as well as projecting, justifying, recommending, and implementing solutions to a variety of complex problems.
The Manager evaluates systems and implements policy and operational changes.
This position oversees the training and evaluation of performance for divisional subordinate personnel and may represent the division on grievance and disciplinary matters.
This position serves as a liaison to other Magnit divisions.
They collaborate with subordinate staff, the Client Delivery Division, billable staff, suppliers, and the client.
They are ultimately responsible for the staff’s validation of compliance of the supplier employee and Magnit billable worker as outlined by the individual customer contract requirements and Magnit requirements to ensure all regulatory standards are met.
Day In the Life A typical day may involve activities such as ensuring the provision of training and direction to compliance staff and the use of Magnit’s web-based system to audit compliance documentation, analyze system generated reports, and resolve compliance related issues.
What You Will Do • Strategically partners with leadership to enhance the support provided by the division to promote company initiatives • Develops written procedures to clarify or describe standard practices and designs or improves forms to expedite procedures • Directs, trains, and coaches department leads in the performance of their duties • Resolves escalations and provides feedback to team leaders • Develops reports and recommendations for leadership based on the analysis of gathered data • Participates in meetings and presents and/or gathers data to assist leadership in making operational decisions • Primary point of contact for The Joint Commission (TJC) and responsible for ensuring TJC compliance • Assist in the implementation of new accounts as it relates to knowledge transfer of compliance requirements • Provide expertise and representation in client regulatory agency audits as requested • Oversees the auditing of compliance for the supplier employee as outlined by the individual customer contract requirements • Oversees the auditing of compliance for the billable worker as outlined by the individual customer contract requirements and Magnit minimum standards • Ensure that subordinate staff complete the monthly sanction and primary source verifications • Ensures the maintenance of expired/expiring documents for all workers What You Will Need • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in related field or equivalent experience preferred • Healthcare staffing compliance knowledge preferred.
• MSP experience preferred • Experience with client interface preferred • Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements related to the healthcare staffing industry • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Experience in supervising subordinates and/or projects of a complex scope.
• Project management experience • Must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities • Must possess strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, and critical thinking skills • Strong management and coaching skills • Must possess excellent time management skills and demonstrate a sense of urgency with projects and deliverables • Expert knowledge of Microsoft desktop computer applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint Salary Range is between $90,000 - $95,000 based on experience and location.
