Overview:
Summary
The Contracts Specialist plays a key role on the Legal Team in supporting all aspects of contract management by using in-depth knowledge of contractual language, content, and structure as well as exceptional organizational, communication, and technology skills.
Ownership
Review and analyze contracts, including but not limited to terms and conditions, purchase orders, non-disclosure agreements, insertion orders, statements of work, quotes, proposals, hotel & event agreements, work for hire agreements, sponsorship agreements, renewals, and change orders, in addition to agreements in the areas of supply chain, operations, business development, marketing, communications, human resources, information technology, etc.
at the direction of your supervisor.
Research contract language in support of negotiation efforts.
Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives, determining priorities, managing time, gaining cooperation of others, monitoring progress, problem-solving, and adjusting plans.
Monitor and maintain contract management system to manage review, negotiation, execution, modification, expiration, and termination of contracts with various parties.
Communicate with the contract owners as needed through the contract workflow process.
Ensure that contract owners provide all relevant contract information to the Legal Team when submitting a contract for legal review.
Effectively manage the pipeline of work including tracking the status of contract reviews, providing proactive updates to contract owners, and ensuring the timely execution of contracts.
Perform all tasks necessary to input accurate contract data into the contract management system and organize contracts.
Capture primary contract terms in Milo’s contract management system to support the contract administration and renewal process.
Assign contracts and associated documents to members of the Legal Team in the contract management system.
Refine and finalize the tracked changes in the contract.
Route contracts for signature to various stakeholders in Milo’s through the contract management system.
Comprehend and structure contract family trees within the contract management system.
Ensure contracts and associated documents are properly recorded into Milo’s contract management system and other organizational databases.
Track various contracting activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

S degree and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in contract review and contract administration.
Contract Management/Administration or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Extensive experience with contract management software and strong experience with Office 365 applications.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and research skills with a high level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively under time constraints.
