AR 2ax Stereo speakers - $200 (Harwichport)

Purchased from the original owners Estate sale this weekend (which look like he placed them on the shelf sideway in the early 70's and never moved them.
they have light scratches on sides they were laying on.
The Walnut cabinets and cloth grills were to mint to not give a try in hopes that the woofer surrounds were cloth, that was not the case.
these are the new 2ax built form 1970 to 1976( with 10"woofer 3 1/2" midrange 3/4" soft dome tweeter) and foam was use and are rotted.
I Removed the speaker grills ( without breaking or damaging the cabinets they were glued on, and are now set up for easy removal via pull tab) as it is the only way into the cabinet ,and have now removed the woofers and cleaned the old foam surrounds off the woofer basket plus the cone.
and is now ready for new surrounds.
I also took the attenuation controls for the tweeter and midrange apart to sand and clean the contacts which were in surprisingly good shape and working well now.
all that is left is the re foam of the woofers.
Hoping to pass these on and with a little effort you will have a great looking and sounding pair of speakers would like to get $200 if i end up re foaming the woofers and like these speakers better than my EP- M50 i won't be selling them so get em while you can show contact info
