Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from their destinations (field trips, athletic events, events, etc.
)
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience
- Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
- Manage student behavior and address any issues that may arise during transportation
Requirements:
- Valid CDL driver's license, with a Passenger (P) Endorsement and a School Bus (S) Endorsement.
You also need a school bus driver certificate.
-Need a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a bus driver or van driver preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
- Experience working with children is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
