Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Owner Operator Drivers to join our team.
As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, sprinters, box trucks, hotshots, semi trucks and cargo vans.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and have a passion for delivering goods and materials.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy machinery
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers, sprinters, box trucks, hotshots, semi trucks and cargo vans
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts or loaders
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
