Recreation Assistant - Boy's Basketball

An individual who is responsible for the safety and well-being of participants in a recreational activity.
The Recreation Assistant will instruct activities in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Recreation Division.
Boy's Basketball Recreation Assistants will be expected to follow lesson plans, run and supervise basketball drills, create team practice plans, and manage a team during games.
Programs: 4th and 5th grade program at BUES: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 - 4:30, November 28 - February 29 6th and 7th grade program at BIS and HYCC: Tuesdays at BIS (6:00 - 7:30pm) and Saturdays at HYCC (2:00 - 3:00), November 28 - March 2 K-3 at HYCC: Saturdays, 11:30 - 2:00, December 2 - March 2 Minimum Qualifications Community CPR and First Aid.
Experience supervising activities.
Experience working with kids.
Intermediate understanding of the game of basketball.
