1997 Volvo 960 Wagon ,NO RUST , 125K miles - $4,500 (East Falmouth)

I bought this from the original owner on cape cod .
It has about 122,493 original miles .
It has the 2.
9 liter 6 Cylinder Engine and automatic transmission .
He had the timing belt replaced ( due to maintenance and not breaking) and a few months later he bought another brand new Volvo and left this one in the attached garage where it's been for about 7 years since 2016 .
I put a new battery in it and a couple gallons of fresh fuel ( it was near empty ) and it fired right up without any odd noises or smoke .
I drove it onto my car trailer and I looked it over thoroughly while it was up on my car trailer .
The only rust I could see was on the original rear muffler outer case and a spot on the battery tray .
There is no rot or real rust on the undercarriage .
The unibody is perfect and the rest of the exhaust isn't even rusty .
It has the Volvo copper / nickel factory brake lines .
The battery tray cleaned up thoroughly but it has a 1/4" by 1.
5 " rot hole and that's it .
The rest of the battery tray is solid ( I had to scrape that rusted 1/4" by 1.
5" area hard to get the metal to break thru - I then sprayed the whole battery tray area with Fluid film .
The engine runs great but I am changing the alternator because it has a bad diode and was draining the battery .
I already put in a new 3 year warranty Everstart MAXX Battery but I am leaving it disconnected until I fix the alternator .
It has power windows and locks and a power sunroof and other accessories .
It has a few dings and scratches .
It also has a trailer hitch since they used it to put in their small sailboat locally ( Centerville ) .
This 1997 960 is one one the last years for the simple rear wheel drive station wagons.
AND it ISNT a New England rot box .

If I can't sell it for what I want I'll just keep it or sell it to a friend since I own a few rust free CA vehicles and I know how much rusty garbage is here in MA since I grew up here and am a mechanic and car collector of older stuff .
