We are keen on welcoming a virtual paralegal who:
Holds expertise in litigation, including state and federal courts.
Ideal paralegal will be fluent with personal injury, but ideally will also have experience in at least one other specialty area, such as contract disputes or employment law
Comes with a minimum of five years of litigation experience
Has been engaged in a law firm setting within the past six months
Is technologically proficient, especially with Word, Excel, Adobe, and preferably with cloud-based practice management software like Clio.

Be responsible for maintaining timely communication with clients between 9am – 6pmPT with a close responsiveness commitment.

The selected paralegal will come on board as a W-2 employee (not a 1099 independent contractor), with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
The starting pay for this role is $23/hr.

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience working in a litigation practice
2+ years of experience working specifically in personal injury
Proficiency in using a cloud-based practice management system, such as Clio or MyCase
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient with Google suite of programs
Proficient with creating PDFs in Adobe, including features such as bookmarks
Experience with engagement letters, client invoicing, correspondence, document review and preparation
Experience drafting form motions
Availability to make and respond to calls in a professional setting between 9 AM and 6 PM PT
Your own laptop and smart phone with broadband access to Internet
These qualifications are not required, but would be a plus:
Experience using law firm bookkeeping software for invoicing and timekeeping
Experience with e-Discovery
Experience with case management
Quiet location in which to take phone calls
