POSITION MANDATE The Analyst is part of the Project Delivery Unit (PDU), providing both technical and project management support across a portfolio of projects and activities to deliver excellence to clients.
This is a full-time position reporting to a PDU Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Associate, or Associate.
The Analyst supports day-to-day tasks for USAID and other client activities contributing to client relationship management, overall program and task management, support to project operations, and project compliance, alongside technical assistance.
The Analyst works with clients, partners, stakeholders, and other team members to plan, implement, and troubleshoot issues that arise during project implementation.
The Analyst works closely with both the PDU and Technical Sector teams to ensure technical excellence is an integral part of project delivery.
Although the core mandate of the position is to manage United States Government (USG) -financed projects, the Analyst may also support billable tasks on Resonance’s Impact Advisory team; support Resonance business development tasks; and participate in corporate initiatives and committees, as necessary and appropriate.
OUTCOMES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Contribute to and facilitate the implementation and monitoring of donor-funded projects (primarily USAID) Provide short-term technical, research, and project management assistance virtually or in-person/on-site, including assessments, research/analysis, field interviews, and evaluations Track and analyze project financials utilizing Resonance’s internal financial management tools, to monitor financial performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and identify budget challenges before they become serious problems Provide administrative support required to facilitate project implementation (e.
g.
, travel logistics coordination, processing invoices and expense reports, liaising with overseas-based short and long-term employees, among others) Ensure compliance with contract requirements by applying Resonance established project management systems, processes, and best practices Coordinate with Resonance cross-functional teams to deliver expertise to clients Contributes to project communications and knowledge management, including website content, articles, success stories, blog posts, among others to ensure accurate reporting of development impact and achievement of results Support drafting and editing of project deliverables and reports Provide targeted surge support to other Resonance units as needed (e.

, providing project management support to the Impact Advisory team, supporting corporate initiatives) Support Resonance business development initiatives as needed REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and/or Development, Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or another relevant field 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in a management consulting and/or global development context performing analytical work, research, operational support, and project management 1+ year of experience working on USAID or other international donor-funded projects Proven experience working in Excel for budgeting, tracking and/or research purposes Experience drafting and editing reports, plans, success stories, blog posts, and other related products Proven capability in research, quantitative analysis, and project administration and coordination PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Fluency in French or Spanish Technical experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: private sector engagement, innovation, enterprise development, innovative finance, partnership development, natural resource management, economic growth, or monitoring, evaluation, and learning Previous experience supporting business development initiatives for USG clients TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS Ability to travel on short notice.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position operates in a professional office environment, and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

The employee must be able to make substantial repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers.
The employee must be able to lift and move up to 15lbs at times.
