Johntry Appleseed, LLC is a startup Education and Consulting company that is based in Commack of Long Island, New York.
The company is owned by a veteran teacher and SUNY Professor, and we launched as a nationwide, remote agency with a Team of over 60 Independent Contractors as of September 1, 2023.
This new-age, innovative agency model is comprised of Educators, Counselors, Business Owners and Consultants who offer an array of services including Tutoring & Test Preparation, Continuing Education (Accreditation Pending), Professional Development, HomeSchool Advising for Parents, College & Career Coaching, Fieldwork Placement Preparation, Professional Development and Consulting services for Business Owners and Corporate employees.

We are seeking Undergraduate / Graduate students or Professionals with earned degrees who have a thirst for networking and gaining first-hand industry experience with a startup company.
Our Interns play an integral role in establishing the foundation of our company, Team culture and assessment of client needs.
Interns will perform basic clerical and organizational duties, maintain social media accounts, monitor client subscriptions, assist with the drafting and processing of paperwork, building community relationships and generating client leads.

Working with Johntry Appleseed LLC will afford you the freedom of setting your own hours around your busy school or work schedule.
Interns are required to log a minimum of 20 working hours per week, for a period of 20 weeks (1 semester).
Additionally, you will receive invaluable Startup Business experience by working directly with the Owner and maintaining a close relationship with Team Members from each department.
All Interns are encouraged to maintain a long-term working relationship for multiple semesters, as the opportunity for a paid position will be available based on quality of work and project-based productivity.

Internship positions are compensated with College (Capstone) Internship Course credits, certified Letters of Recommendation, Community Service Hours recognition, and Reference Letters to affiliated companies for potential job interviews.
Internships may be extended for an additional 20 weeks if the applicant so chooses, to serve as a Graduate Mentor to a newer Intern within the company.
Based on work ethic and job performance, a paid position with Johntry Appleseed, LLC as an Independent Contractor (1099 status) may be offered to Internship candidates with a proven track record of quality effort and project-based productivity.
Earnings for College Course credit must be accepted by your College or Institution, and arranged/approved in writing by the Business Owner.
