To supervise and carry out the day-to-day operation of the assigned Freedom Boat Club (FBC) location.
To promote teamwork through training, attitude and professionalism.
Always lead by example and provide Red Carpet Service to all FBC members.
To clean and maintain a fleet of recreational boats to the highest standards and to communicate when issues arise that need assistance from technicians.
Description Terms – Full Time - year-round, 9 months or 7 months terms based on Club size and details (year-round benefits available for short term employment).
Year round benefits are available for 9 month term employees.
Salary – Based on experience and size of club location.
Requirements – Managers will work 1-2 administrative days and 3-4 dock shifts per week on location and must work one weekend day, divided equally to ensure morning and evening coverage.
The work week consists of 50 hours, with a schedule of 5 days of 10 hours each.

About the role – Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, the Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations at the specific assigned location to provide excellent service to our members.
Responsibilities · Ensure completion of reports, maintenance logs, and reservations.
· Lead by example and enforce company policies with staff and members.
· Provide excellent service to all members and their guests.
· Be proficient in handling small boats.
· Recruit, hire (with management assistance), train, and schedule staff.
· Conduct weekly inspections of safety gear and cleanliness of vessels.
· Address minor maintenance issues and properly document them.
· Monitor and order inventory as needed.
· Continuously develop professionally.
· Open and close the club following Standard Operating Procedures.
· Communicate any weather concerns and send confirmation texts to members.
· Responsible for P&L, budget scheduling, and limiting overtime.
· Contact salvage company to recover damaged or grounded boats.
· Communicate with Assistant Operations Manager daily regarding the Plan of the Day and weather advisories.
· Perform winterizing, wrapping, painting, buffing, detailing, hauling, and yard work (for year-round employees only).
· Work dock shifts alongside dock staff, leading by example.
· Clean and maintain the fleet of boats to FBC Excellence Standards.
· Always prioritize safety.
REQUIREMENTS: · High School diploma or equivalent.
· NABLA approved boating safety certification required, USCG Maritime Credentialing a plus.
· Able to bend, kneel, access hard-to-reach places, and lift 30 lbs.
· Maintain a professional appearance as per company policy.
· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with members, staff, and supervisors.
· Required to work weekends and holidays from April to October, and Monday to Friday in the other months for full-time, year-round employees.
· Must have strong knowledge of small boat operations.
Salary $21 - $26 per hour
