Position Overview: We're on the lookout for a detail-oriented short-term B2B Collections Specialist to join our finance team.
If you thrive in a scrappy work environment and enjoy the challenge of managing accounts receivable, negotiating payments, and collaborating with clients, then we want you on our hardworking team! This is a temporary role lasting 2 to 4 months, requiring a commitment of approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities: Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to pursue outstanding payments.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection activities.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and payment arrangements.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
Assess delinquent accounts and recommend appropriate actions.
Provide regular updates on collection activities and account statuses to management.
Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations governing collections practices.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in B2B collections and billing.
Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills with experience in client email correspondence and customer service.
This position is primarily a work from home position and we consider applicants throughout the United States.
We support pay transparency, the compensation range for this position is between $25-30/hour and this position is eligible for the employee bonus program.
Actual compensation can vary based on qualifications, experience, and geographic pay differentials.
