Position Overview: As a Senior Finance Partner at Merative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the organization.
You will be responsible for various financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting tasks.
Additionally, you will gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Track P&L financial performance against plan, analyzing business performance to create forecasts
Make recommendations to senior management based on performance projections and knowledge of business
Master the key drivers and inputs to the performance of the business
Produce monthly, quarterly, and operational reporting including key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis
Lead annual and quarterly budgeting and forecast processes for product P&L
Review purchase orders and headcount requests that align to future performance goals.
Continuously identify and execute opportunities for improvement and automation across Finance and Merative
Create ad hoc analysis as needed including occasional M&A activity
Required Professional & Technical Experience:
7-10+ years of related experience in FP&A
Experience in software, SaaS, or professional services a plus but not required
Ability to work with fast paced teams in a remote environment
Clear, concise, and detailed communication skills
Excellent attention to detail as well as analytical and problem solving skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
Proficient in Oracle ERP & EPM a plus but not required
Occasional travel for in person team meetings (1-2 times per year)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics or a related field required.
MBA or similar a plus but not required.
