Townsend & Associates, a construction audit and cost control firm in Plano, Texas, is currently seeking a part-time and/or full-time entry level individual with 1 – 3 years of Accounting, Auditing, Project Management, Construction Management, etc.

This individual will be hired to assist our experienced staff on several projects simultaneously with the primary objective of ensuring that Construction Owners are being charged in accordance with the construction contract terms with their Construction Managers or other applicable vendors.
We will provide on-the-job training and development opportunities for career advancement within the firm.
· 1 to 3 years of recent experience in accounting, auditing, project management, construction management, etc.
· Bachelor's Degree (or above) is required, accounting, engineering, or related field preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, etc.
)
· Highly organized with solid analytical and research skills
· Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with various levels of management which can influence positive outcomes.
· Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
· Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills
· Desire to achieve project goals within allotted time and budget
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Our goal is to hire a team member who is interested in working to obtain professional certifications or already has one or more of the following designations: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Construction Auditor (CCA).
Our ideal candidate for this position will live within commuting distance of our office in Plano, Texas.
