*Compensation: The initial compensation for this role will be in the form of equity and can be part-time to begin with.

* *Position Overview*: The Software QA Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's business media discovery and monetization platform.
This individual will work closely with the Software Development Manager and the Product Manager to test the functionality of the platform, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
The role can be part-time or full-time.
The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in working arrangements and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse, distributed team.
*Key Responsibilities*: * Quality Assurance Testing: Conduct thorough testing of the platform's functionality in both production and development environments.
This includes identifying and documenting software defects and inconsistencies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Software Development Manager and Product Manager to understand project requirements, provide feedback on product features, and ensure that quality standards are met throughout the development process.
* Process Improvement: Develop and implement ideas for the improvement of the platform, including suggesting enhancements to existing features, identifying potential risks, and contributing to the overall product roadmap.
* Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective communication with the development team.
* Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
*Qualifications*: * Proven experience in quality assurance testing, preferably in a software development environment.
* Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Familiarity with both production and development environments, including experience with testing in agile development environments.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Preferred Qualifications*: * Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
* Knowledge of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
* Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
*Working time zone*: The candidate of this position can be based in around GMT+6 (Asia) time zone.
