The Accountant II will report to the Manager of Accounting.
The Accountant II will be responsible for Sales Order Review, Account Reconciliations and compliance with revenue accounting standards.
We’re excited to hire a new Accountant II who can: Review sales orders on a daily basis ensuring accuracy and alignment with product and service revenue recognition practices.
Provide guidance and support of Accountant I sales order review.
Work cross functionally with sales operations and contract teams to review contracts and process within systems.
Identify improvements to current processes and implement to enhance financial controls and procedures.
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities as needed including Reconciliations, month-end close process Complete journal entries Reviewing financial reports/support as necessary Support audit requests and interact with external audit team Assist in key system integrations and acquisitions.
Ensure all record keeping and accounting practices meet acceptable industry practices and GAAP standards as well as any applicable government regulations There is no perfect candidate, but we are looking for: Accounting Degree preferred 2-5 years of experience Working knowledge of GAAP Must be able to meet deadlines Advanced Microsoft Excel NetSuite experience preferred Ability to work effectively within a team *Note: We know that excellent candidates can have all sorts of backgrounds and experiences, so please don’t hesitate to apply even if you don’t meet 100% of the listed requirements!
