As a *Senior Accountant*, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing
specific accounting functions within the finance department.
Your primary duties
will involve maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting, and
adhering to standard accounting principles and company policies.
Ideal candidates will have experience in public accounting or audit roles, reflecting a deep understanding of industry best practices.
This role requires a self-motivated
individual with the ability to work independently and communicate with various
internal departments and external stakeholders.

*Responsibilities:*
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring the accurate recording of all transactions.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to tax regulations and manage timely filings of all tax obligations at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations, promptly identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Collaborate in refining accounting procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Generate detailed financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
*Qualifications & Requirements:*
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
A CPA
certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a professional accounting role, strongly favoring candidates with public accounting or audit backgrounds.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with accounting software (e.
g.
, QuickBooks,
NetSuite) and advanced Excel capabilities.
Proficiency in Python is a plus.
- A detail-oriented approach, ensuring meticulous and accurate financial documentation.
