Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team, interfacing with Senior Leaders and Executives to support and grow the business.
This role will support the Finance Manager with financial modeling, planning, reporting, forecasting and analysis of business operations and key metrics to drive business insights.
In this role as a Senior Financial Analyst, our ideal candidate will:
Develop, maintain and utilize appropriate financial reporting and business analysis to support all of the financial planning, management and reporting needs of the business.
Partner with Department Leaders in analysis and preparation of financial budgets, rolling forecasts, and operating/strategic plans.
Provide in-depth financial modeling and analysis for a wide range of initiatives including, but not limited to: go-to-market activities and effectiveness, product investment decisions, recommendations on business model, product pricing, customer segmentation and customer retention.
Complete ad-hoc FP&A special projects as requested by manager.
Qualifications
For this role as a Senior Financial Analyst, our ideal candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting is required, MBA a plus
3+ of years of experience in a Finance role
Financial Modeling and Analysis: Is well-versed in the creation of robust, scalable, and flexible financial models, takes a creative approach to this process, is analytical and business minded.
Must be able to dig into the details to analyze and understand causes.
Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, and ability to follow-through.
Ability to thrive in a changing environment and to juggle and prioritize multiple initiatives.
Bonus Points:
SaaS experience (Software as a Service) a strong preference; EdTech, Information Services a plus.
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Flexible, independent, forward-thinking with a willingness to engage in all aspects of the business.

Compensation: $74,700 to $102,750 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
