Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources and Accounting Assistant to join our team.
The Human Resources and Accounting Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate timekeeping records
- Support employee relations initiatives and assist with conflict resolution
-Accounting responsibilities such as A/R and A/P
-Entering Invoices
-Cash Deposits
-Change Orders
- Maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in an HR role or related administrative position
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
